Façade 1-4 (Black) is a series of work which involved a plaster cast being taken of my head and shoulders. The cast was used to smash a black mirror four times. I photographed the mirror at each interval of the process, and etched the four images of its increasingly cracked surface onto the back of four unbroken mirrors. The remnants of the smashed bust were collected and reassembled.
