This work was made by cutting equally sized strips of paper, the combined length of which is the equivalent to that of my body. I then wrapped and impressed each individual piece of paper against myself from head to toe at separate intervals, to record my body’s entire surface. The distressed paper strips were then photographed, collated and printed onto a large single sheet of paper. Finally, I hung the printed image, stood directly in front of it and drew on all the areas I could reach whilst maintaining a straight posture.
